Being on a budget

It’s happened. I’ve been put on a budget. Cue the shopping tears! Ha! Well, it’s probably a good idea so I can really decide what I need versus what I want to have in my closet.

It can be easy to buy what you want when following your favorite fashion bloggers. Trust me, some of my favorite bloggers can sway me into filling my online cart! But when I search for certain items, I’ll have a running list of what I am missing – or rather what I’ve been looking for to wear.

For those pieces that I love, I save my pennies and make sure I will actually love it rather than buying because everyone else is. Other items that I’m really not sure about or I don’t really need, I’ll wait for a sale, or until they have really good deals.

Generally if I’m able to wait for it, it’s probably something I don’t need or don’t really want in my closet. But I’m also a big believer in buying and then trying on at home. I like to have some of my shoes or shirts at home to make sure I can wear a piece in multiple ways.

So what’s on my shopping trip this month? You can find them here and linked on my photos. I already ordered my February items and have my March list going!

Don’t let a budget get you down, figure out your needs versus wants. And I just realized that I sound just like my Dad! Ha!

Happy shopping friends!
